# Promptaro 1.0.0

The first public preview of Promptaro puts editable prompt buttons above your chat
input. Click once to insert a saved prompt and send it.

- Edit multiline prompts, give them short labels, and reorder the buttons.
- Dismiss or pause the palette, and optionally launch at login.
- Keep prompts on your Mac, with no account or model API required.

Download **Promptaro-1.0.0-macOS.zip**, unzip it, move the app to Applications,
then enable Promptaro in **Privacy & Security → Accessibility**.

Requires macOS 14+. The app is signed and notarized and includes Apple Silicon
and Intel binaries. Intel runtime and fresh-user installation are not yet tested.

ChatGPT multiline sending has been confirmed by an early user on desktop and in
Chrome. The palette's appearance and placement have been confirmed in Safari and
Claude Code desktop. Sending in those apps, OpenCode Desktop, and other browser
combinations still needs wider testing. Terminal windows and CLI chat apps are unsupported.

This build excludes Slack's desktop app and Slack web pages, where ordinary
message fields previously triggered the palette.

Clicking a prompt also sends any text already in the composer. Return must be the
destination's send key. If insertion cannot be verified, Promptaro leaves the text
in place and does not press Return.
